First experience three years ago had Maricio take an early 50's coffee table that had it's share of visual flaws come home looking showroom new.Recently I called 6 or 7 recommended shops to build a custom table that would be topped with a leftover piece of counter-top from our new kitchen. We wanted this base to have legs matching our existing dining set up. Lo and behold it was done to perfection! Did I say that countertop turned table top weighed 250 pounds? And the custom base was not ony strong enough to carry the weight with ease, but has heavy duty felt pads on the leg bottoms so the floor isn't scratched? Yeah, GREAT shop to trust with your refurbished and custom work.

On may 28th of this year, I dropped off an arm chair and a matching footstool for repair. Mauricio, the owner, didn't happen to be there when I initially dropped it off (which is a reoccurring problem you'll find out), but his secretary told me I'd receive a call soon after regarding what can be done for my repair, plus costs etc. Seeing that people have given this place decent reviews I assumed I could put all my worries aside and trust my furniture would be in good hands, but 2 weeks after the initial drop off I still hadn't received a call. I returned to the store in person to see if I can get an update or even catch Mauricio should he happen to be there and guess what, he was! But this is the only time I have seen or spoken to him since. During my stop, he went over my piece with me and assured me he'd be able to fix it and he even said he'd be able to do it in 3 weeks! Now 5 MONTHS LATER, I have yet to see or get an update on the status of my furniture because Mauricio doesn't seem to care to call back, even after leaving countless messages with his secretary inquiring about an update. I even physically went back to the store hoping to get more information than I could over the phone. Guess what, still no Mauricio. Just his secretary and every single time I speak to her its the same thing, "Mauricio isn't here he'll call you back next week." Pending a call week after week, I still try and get through to Mauricio but I just can't seem to do so. So as of now, I still have zero idea about the status of the furniture I dropped off 5 months ago. I'd be willing to redact or even update my review once I receive my property back and assess the job he's done or has even yet to do. Who knows. But this is starting to get ridiculous.

They did a nice job of stripping 80 years of old paint off of a door.

Never got a reply to provide a quote. Little disappointing
